APD volumetric app: android app for the quantification of reagents

Published date : 03 Nov 2017

Quantifying reagents is a necessity in laboratory experiment planning but to do so with reasonable accuracy is a challenge when using unmarked containers. While there are volumetric measuring cylinders, the demand of sterility and purity in many experiments prevent their use in a feasible fashion. As a result, experienced estimation is usually relied upon, but this is fairly subjective, and may lead to large margins of error.

PsychVeyApp: Research survey app

Published date : 15 Dec 2015

Surveys are used extensively to gather information from clinical, market, and psychological research studies. However, this process is time-consuming and error-prone especially with the tedious data entry. Psychvey is a web and mobile application that allows the easy design, creation, analysis, and taking part in surveys electronically. Collected data are easily exported into spreadsheets for subsequent statistical analysis, displacing the physical collection of survey responses and manual data entry.

StanXY: standard curve app for Android

Published date : 15 Dec 2015

StanXY is a free standalone native Android application. It is developed to provide convenience and efficiency to graph plotting. By simply downloading the application, StanXY provides the portability to easily plot graphs on the go as compared to manual plotting and desktop graphing software. The StanXY generates a best fit line based on a set of coordinates entered by the user. The equation of the line (y = mx + c) and its coefficient of determination (R2) are calculated and displayed.
